This tapestry is made with high-quality Tokuoka fabric typically used for tenugui hand towels, adorned with a hand-dyed Magatama pattern applied by craftsmen at a dyeing mill that has been in operation since 1907. The look of the Magatama pattern decorating this soft cloth changes slightly with the atmosphere and lighting of the entryway, living room, or alcove it is placed in. The wooden poles that suspend the fabric are carefully selected, domestically grown Japanese cypress, which has a pleasant scent and is also said to have healing effects. This tapestry creates an air of chic Japanese "Iki" style that makes your time spent in any space even more enjoyable.
