Enhance your everyday dining and hospitality with a Japanese air
Resistant to mold and fading and can be cleaned easily
These place mats are made with washi paper twisted into strands and woven together to create a tatami mat surface. They feature Magatama-pattern tatami-beri trim woven by a tatami-beri maker whose history dates back to the first year of the Meiji Era(1868) roughly 150 years ago, adding lovely and stylish accent. The resin coating adds excellent waterproof properties, and the washi paper is more resistant to mold and fading compared to rush and can be cleaned easily. Even if a drink gets spilled on them, just a quick wiping off and they're okey. Great for everyday use at the dinner table or when entertaining guests, and also for adding some Japanese flair to your decor.
